Just a little large format fun.

I LOVE the way large format delivers subtle tones and overthetop resolution. Your image also has a nice energy to it.
Keep up the great work!
A remarkable image- especially because it's so 'untraditional' Mardi Gras; no color, a sense of stillness in a moving scene. I'd love to see more, if you have any.
Thanks, Ed -- you've opened this LF newcomer's eyes to the possibility of using my Wista45RF as I have my MFs -- with fast film, instead of the more traditional slow film/long exposure/tripod drill that seems to generally characterize the use of this format.
The Wista RF would be great. You would not need to spend as much time weight lifting in preparation as you do with the Technika.:-) Tmax 400 in Xtol, 1:3, is pretty and scans with only a tiny bit more grain than Tmax 100. It really gets into the shadows, letting you keep it a ASA 400 or even higher, without push processing. That way you can the shutter speed up and the F stop at 16 or 22.
