It's been awhile since I've had the 4x5 out. But now it has gotten easier to develop b/w at home, and I plan on doing a lot more.
This is my son, who took my request to "stand still" to mean he had to look serious and grumpy as well. Busch Pressman Model D, Wollensak 135mm f/4.7 lens, wide open (accidentally...I was metering for f/8 and forgot to stop down after focusing!). Tri-X 320 that had been sitting around in a holder for a couple of years. Rodinal 1:100 semi-stand development. Slight crop because there was a photo-critter on the edge.

Happy New Year to you, John
In truth I think it's lovely. One problem is that you have no control over the recipients computer screen and what looks perfect in a print (in particular) may be obscured on line. Not to mention my own reflection on the screen staring back at me on the large area of dark. Still I am thankful for what I do seeA print would be right up there with Garo!
Regards
Bill
HI Bill
Thanks for your kind words, as you know I think Garo might be one of the greatest portraitists that time forgot.
