So, before you get sold the idea of dropping some money on having it redone, get some guarantees on return on investment since as far as I can see, you have already done the work and a rewrite won't achieve anything unless it takes the site up a level or two in terms of generating hits.
Another thing to consider is that having it rewritten in standards compliant code probably means you won't be able to edit it in your current wysiwyg editor without trashing the code. That means you would have to edit the raw files in a text editor. Are you happy to do that because it means that if you make a mistake you will need to understand the code to be able to spot the error?
