Jackson Hole Workshop

The details are not final but I may be doing a photo workshop in Jackson, WY this summer. The focus would be on the rodeo that happens twice a week but during the day we will do landscapes and some western/cowgirl fashion. The entire workshop won't be large format but much of it will be. I will bring lights and we can do lf portraits of the rodeo competitors and the fans - some with whatever backgound we find and perhaps some ala Avedon. We will have pretty much unlimited access to the rodeo grounds and there will be opportunities for early morning landscape work and some fashion as well.

We are thinking sometime in late July/early August.

If it goes well we will put a portfolio of the attendees work in View Camera.

I photographed rodeos in New Mexico all year on assignemt for New Mexico magazine and I am hooked. I am going to continue this year as well.

Jackson is a great place.
