Armchair opportunity - B&W vs Color

Heads up. On USA Channel, Dec 22 at 9pm EST, a new "Monk" episode will be shown, first in B&W, then the following hour in COLOR. No great creative photography, certainly not 'still', but a casual opportunity to feel your own out-of-the-blue reaction to mono-no-mono, since we all discuss it endlessly. Being TV, I suspect I'll go for color but mainly wish to see if I'll be surprised - get 'more' out of it in B&W. That they are even bothering to do this back-to-back thing is ... curious.
