    Lens Boards from "oaklandlenscom"?

Has anyone had any experience purchasing lens boards from an ebay seller with the ID "oaklandlenscom"? They have quite a few to choose from:

    Wisner 8x10
    Wisner 4x5
    Deardorff
    Agfa 8x10
    Graflex
    Kodak 2D
    etc....

The price is right, the question is whether they actually fit.........

    Thanks!

I bought one, just to see. Outer dimensions were OK. I don't know what wood he uses, but it was very lightweight and crudely finished, almost seemed as though it would splinter if I so much as breathed on it. Also, I asked for the board to be drilled for a Copal 1, and it came back with the right diameter hole but not countersunk, so it was useless.

I didn't bother complaining - at $8 or whatever it was I paid, I figured I got off easy, and it just wasn't worth my time to pursue it further.

    Thanks, Oren, 'nuff said.

My apologies for putting this board in the wrong place.... Ooops.

I have 5 of his boards and have had no problem with them. I drill my own holes so that is no problem.
I don't understand why not being coutersunk makes the board useless. Was he told to do so? I'll bet there is asimple way to mount your lens on the "useless" board.

I'm happy with my Technika-sized board. For no extra charge he made me a custom hole to fit an odd-sized older Betax shutter, works fine. You really can't beat the price Anything prettier will cost 5-10 times as much if not more...
