HP 24" printer for $885 - will it print photos?

I just got a new a MacMall catalogue and it lists an HP 110 Plus for $885. It's a four color 24" printer. Has anyone used this? Can it print photo's?

Absolutely it will print quite nice photos. However, this is the older model, replaced by the DesignJet 130. The newer model is much better made, likely more durable, and shares inksets with the even newer DesignJet 90 (smaller width at 17"). You might want to compare to the prices of the newer DesignJets. If you had side be side prints from the 110 and the newer 130, you would easily see a difference, and very likely prefer the prints off the 130.

A new HP Designjet 90 runs $995 from the HP website, and you can probably find it for less at a reseller if you shop around a bit. For the few extra dollars, you can brand new.

I think the 110 is a four ink printer, not a six - I know I considered one and decided that the 130 was the way to go, but I forget why at this point. At the time they were selling the 130 for a little over 1,000.
