I'm very happy to see Linhof finally expand their line of cameras. I would love to see them revive the Super Technika V 5X7 or updated version of same. Surely now would be the time to do a limited run with alternative formats becoming so popular. Those of us with more money than sense, or those of us who spend money only on photography and nothing else, would welcome such an event.

I sacrificed a beautifully restored Super Technika 5X7 (late model) for a Kodak and Ilford ULF film order, but I cried while doing so. I really loved that camera for its incredible design and engineering. I would choose it over any of the current 5X7 offerings.

Well, a new Tech 2000 is about $5500 from B&H. I'd expect the 3000 to be in the same ballpark.

Well, their site does look like it needs help and it does look like they wanted metalic colors... I've had a few clients who wanted that too.

Besides, misunderstandings and misspellings do happen...
