What I appreciate about Linhof is that they seem to be one of the only large format manufacturers who actually bother to have their cameras photographed by a skilled and talented professional photographer AND they work with good graphic designers and printers.

Having clear, detailed photos is important for this most excellent camera porn!

Nice upgrade from the 2000.

I wonder if they'll ever add any new features to the Master Tech Classic at this point. I suppose it would be easy to put the four-stop arms (I'm not quite sure what to call those arms in English, but at least now I know in German that they are "Die Laufbodenstreben") on an MT for more bed drop, though the two stops on my Tech V are enough for verticals with a 55mm lens.

Yeah, I don't think they've figured out that metallic inks don't translate into a websafe color palette.

Forget websafe - Metalic inks by their very nature are meant for reflective media and do not lend themselves very well to any kind of transmissive media to begin with.

Even trying to use "metalic" colors for web really shows how analog they really are. Which, on reflection, should make them many friends here...

What wonderful news that Linhof is continuing to develop their camera line. Nice stuff; I particularly admire the Technorama with built-in gg and loupe.

Too bad I won't pay those prices, but I just can't make myself do it.
