robc - re your Hate Mail fear...No you won't get it (at least not from me, I used to live nearby)
    But it HAS improved...honestly!

Sven - thanks for the Lakes lab tip; not known to me, I'll try them myself.

    Hi Frank

Can I suggest the following; order your film from a supplier in the UK (Robert White?), and have them post it to your hotel. When you're ready, post it to BDP Photech in Warrington, and ask them to post it home for you.

Alternatively, BDP are just off the M6 motorway, about 2 hours from the south lakes, so you could drop it off. I use BDP myself, and can vouch for their service. Ask for David, the owner.

Incidently, BDP outsource the work to Pro2col. HTH

    Pete.
Actually I would go there. If you go to Salford Quays you will find "The Lowry" Arts Centre where there is a permanent exhibition by one of Englands greatest artists. Its next to the home of MUFC and also the new Imperial War Museum. Worth a day out if you like that sort of thing.

Come on Rob, mentioning Man U is really offensive. When you get a stadium like The Emirates I might tolerate you whispering the name.

Hey I'm no football fan. I just thought that it's probably the only football team any americans may have heard of. And for those stateside who haven't heard, what you call soccer we call footbalL What you call football we call rugby. Or least there is more similarity between UK Rugby and US football. e.g. the ball is not round and you can handle it.

And for those with a sense of humour:

"Rugby is a sport for hooligans played by Gentlemen. Football is a sport for Gentlemen played by hooligans."

Now the flame wars WILL start!
