    sine wave

    Would a motor base using sine wave agitation work with a jobo 3005 expert drum.

    If it rotates far enough in each direction before reversing, it ought to, but the Expert drum is pretty big. If you've got the base and drum already, do a dry run -- unless you're getting AT LEAST 2-3 turns between reverses, you can expect trouble...
    If a contact print at arm's length is too small to see, you need a bigger camera. :D

    I hand roll on the $20 Jobo roller base, reverse direction every two turns. Easy and consistent development.
