Need some advice regarding a project I'm working on

I would need some advice regarding a project I am pursuing.
Could you advise me on a way to achieve, when shooting, developing or printing (developing at a certain temperature, overexposure when shooting, a particular chemist, etc...) whites that come close to those in this photo? I would need a very evanescent, almost dreamlike aesthetic.

Thanks for the advice, have a good day.

It looks to me like there is some optical diffusion softening everything, so nothing to do with exposure/processing as far as I can see. One way to achieve this is with some diffusion at the printing/editing stage. It requires some experimentation to get the right effect. Brian Kosoff has done that on many of his B&W prints.

I think lens choice is going to have much more impact than changes in processing. I had a cheap 35mm Russian camera with a coated lens that could deliver than glow on highlights reliably with its little lens. I also have a Rollei with (unfortunately) a troubled Planar lens with quite a bit of coating scuffing and a little rear separation and it will do that in a contrasty situation. Given the overall lack of sharpness in your attachment, I think other can suggest older lenses that can do this.
