I would love to show you the detail that a full size print contains, but for now my real website is down.
Anyhow, cirkut cameras are still alive and well. This is a fairly straight forward image, but the are subtle things like the branches on the left with snow that sorta look like El Capitan and the two trees on the right that are crossed, bringing an end to the pan and helping you look back into the photo. At least that is how my dyslexic brain interprets the image. OK I'm nuts but that's how I see things when setting up a cirkut camera. It takes a lot of thinking and planning to get the right tripod spot when you use a camera that can see more than just straight ahead.

Fantastic!. I'd love to see a 16 foot long photo of that from a scan done with a Creo eversmart supreme scanner!

Your timing is interesting to me - just 3 days ago someone I'm friends with on Facebook posted a composite of 44 images taken with a 45 mp digital camera that was made in pretty much exactly the same place. Of course, the field of view of each of the two images is quite different. I like that yours brings something new to the table - I could have made the same image as the other person in one wide-angle photo (lacking the resolution, of course).

Are you familiar with David Parker's work? https://davidparkerphotographer.com/ He uses some sort of rotating camera - look at New Desert Myths. It is interesting how rotating cameras distort our view.

What an awesome photograph Ron! I agree; setting up the tripod and composing a panorama for a cirkut camera exposure entails more than with a normal large or ultra large format camera. Thanks for sharing..
