Safely Dispose of Used Clearing Bath

Hi, I'm wondering how to safely dispose of used clearing bath. I am connected to a private septic system and I've heard some people say it's safe to pour down the drain, but I just wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks!

What do you use to clear? Citric acid might be ok, but EDTA is not (easily) biodegradable.

I've never seen formulas for clearing baths that used either citric acid or EDTA. Am I missing something important?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that this is for Pt/Pd printing and I believe it is EDTA.

I’ve put both down the drain into my septic. No problems that I know of.
