    Shutters Any Kind

I really like my 3" Packard

It easily fires quickly at 50 feet about 1/30 and flash does sync

What’s the red hose? Fifty feet is impressive.

I have never tried mine at 50 feet but it fires very consistently at 20 feet. 1/30 seconds for any lens I want to use it with.

I bought 2 new hose set with new bulbs direct from Packard Co still in business, 2 years ago

His hose and Bulb are superior

    Buy from him only

    Yes

    The smaller hole is better

I prefer behind lens as then I can use one shutter

Thanks! Good that some products don’t become industrialized and still work as they have for a long time.

On the topic of Air fire shutters I have a Studio shutter that opens and closes with the manual level fine but seems like it would take an air compressor to actually open the shutter otherwise. I tried with a high quality Packard Bulb and Tube and nada, just won't open. Is this normal for these shutters?
