    JOBO 2509N reel question

    Hello.
I loaded JOBO 2509N reel with 6 sheets of film for the first time.
Do I need to install these plastic wings if I think to process by inversion ?
I think they are designed for rotary development only.
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks.

They won’t be needed for inversion (they act to “scoop” liquid into the film whilst in rotary).

If you have them, I would still recommend them as the centre the reel and hold it in place. Perhaps useful, perhaps not.

I use them for inversion. They seem to hold all the sheets in place.
