Large Format or Analog Groups in Portland?

I will be moving to the Portland/Vancouver area next spring and am looking for a large format and/or analog photo group. Any suggestions are appreciated. If any members of such a group wants to see some of my work, my website is:

    Thanks!

Hi Jim. Here's hoping PDX is the right place for you!
I don't know if there are any large format groups acting in any kind of organized manner, but PDX is a very film-friendly place. Introduce yourself to the Blue Moon Camera folks and they can connect you to the community. There's also the Portland Darkroom facility which works to foster community around film users.

I'm in Corvallis, 90 miles south of PDX.

Ray Bidegain in based in Portland. Beyond his workshops, I think that from time to time he has organized other gatherings for people to share their work, though the pandemic threw a wrench into everything for a while.

    Good luck with your move!

Welcome! There is currently nothing formal as far as I know, but there are some networks centered around the Bluemoon Camera store, as Paul mentioned.

Thanks for the responses. I’m looking forward to the move - well, not the moving part, but being there. I am familiar with Blue Moon - purchased a lens there last spring - and it sounds like a good starting point. Any thoughts on Black Box Gallery? Are the folks there a good resource? Again, thanks for the responses!
