get one of those wheelchair food trays and drill a hole in the center to bolt a tripod head to. maybe velcro a film holder bag and light meter and lens cases, etc. to it.

First serious image from the wheelchair. Took me over an hour just to get the camera and tripod set up, and yes it's a digital back - (Phase One P45+ / Linhof M679 / 150mm G-Claron,) but it's a first step on a long road back to LF. I'm not quite up to developing and scanning yet. This one was edited in the free GIMP application.

Good one. You might want to try the phase one software = Capture One. I believe you can try it free for 30=days. IMHO, it gives those wonderful phase one colors a little better. You seem to see and photograph the colors - not just take a photo that's in color.

Thanks. I have a couple of installs of older versions of Capture 1 and I downloaded the latest trial version - that's what I used to open the files and then saved as tif then imported to GIMP. I'm a PS user but was just curious how GIMP is evolving. Tried it a few years back and it's vastly improved - to the point where I feel that with "a little" work I can do anything with it that I did with PS. I rather like it.

C1 does get more out of the file than other software I've tried - not surprising given that IIQ is a proprietary format. Fortunately Ci is still reasonably priced.

If you're going into the field, then this solution won't help any, but if you are doing any studio photography, then a decent studio stand would be a great option- you can use those with any size camera - I even shoot my Canham 14x17 on my stand using a Majestic head. They're not common, but if you can find an INKA, they have an additional plus - you can not only laterally extend the cross-arm, but you can unlock it and tilt it up/down. Most studio stands the arm is either permanently fixed or has only lateral movement.
