I have a web presence, therefore I am.

So much for paraphrasing Descartes. I have published a placeholder website for potential future adventures after I finish making my first billion as a desktop publisher. I'm about 100,000 billionths of the way there already. Can't be long now.

    Anyway, it's here:

In the old days for you to am, something else had to watch. In my book a photon hitting something counts as a 'watch'.

I guess we have farmed out the watching of ourselves to Internet Service Providers.

Dot art? I thought you intended to start a photography site? LOL

But really… congratulations on getting it started!

Yes, a bit presumptuous, to be sure. Dot com was taken, as was .net, and among the remain plethora of choices, .art readily appealed to my towering ego. My problem now is whether exchanging the Flickr page in my signature for the website address and still posting new work will push my credibility over the edge.

You seem quite credible and might want to give that a try. It could propel you toward fame while you can still enjoy it... before it is aquired posthumously.

Philip, your site looks very good indeed.
But I find it odd that nowhere (that I can see) do you actually identify yourself! Your Bio page doesn't say WHO you are! Is that intentional?

Paul, you mean you don;t think I am universally known and recognized?

Wow! What an oversight! Thank you for being so diplomatic about it. It's extraordinary that I failed to name myself. I managed to do it on the new business cards I designed; perhpas I unconsciously thought it would automatically transfer.

    Thank you!
