Cirkut panorama of redwoods

Taken with a #10 Cirkut camera using the 18" cell of the original Turner Reich lens.
A foggy overcast day made the exposure 1/2 second at f/16 so it is a bit soft but still looks fine as a contact print 10" by 55"

Yesterday I found an old George Fiske photo that was taken very close to where my panorama was made. I took my photo in 1991 and he probably did his photo around 1891. Even though it is the same tree it is amazing to see how much the ground has changed, less vegetation and much lower in my image except the new "cabin" must have had a lot of fill added to the foundation.
