Very nice, Andy! Did you rate this film at ISO 3 or lower?

I'm afraid if I had a box of 8x10 IR I would just sit on it - afraid to use it - and then it would all go bad.

ISO 3 with the 720 filter. EI 1.5 with the 87C.

That's how I feel with the three sheets I have left. I'm saving one for a shoot I want to do in October. At least I still have about 40 sheets of it in 4x5!

    Andy,

Sweet. I still have some 180 sheets of 5x7 cut from 11x14 and 50 sheets of 11x14. I really need to shoot them. They are getting really old.

Great video Andrew. I laughed, I cried, ... Ok, technically I didn't cry, but I did laugh. And love the shot too.

Shoot them! I've always wanted to give 5x7 a go! Such a lovely format...

    Andrew,
I noticed in the video you measured the negative density range (1.69 - or was it 1.59?), and I was wondering how you are using that? Is it just for information, are you aiming for a certain range, or to make/check characteristic curve of your methodology?

I've used my densitometer to get EI and N times (as per Adams in The Negative), but I haven't figured out how else I might use it. And as a data fan, I'd probably enjoy exploring it further.

    Thanks, Chris
