Rodenstock APO-Ronar 480mm f/9

Hello All,

I plan on testing a Rodenstock APO-Ronar 480mm f/9 for possible purchase, shooti ng distant landscapes on 4x5 transparency. I know about the other options in lo ng lenses, and this Rodenstock is certainly bigger and heavier than most, but I am considering it because of the extremely low price available to me. Anyone sh ot this lens and care to comment on sharpness/contrast/color? Thanks for any in fo you have.

I use this lens on my 8X10. Very sharp and good contrast. I would recommend it. Good luck. Jeff
