253 images from 2008, I certainly appreciate it!

With respect to flat subjects that fill the frame, each lens has an optimum indicated in the manufacturer's literature. For my 8x10 lenses it is around 22 to 32, my Minox is 3.5, etc.
With respect to 3D subjects the focusing equation of Hansma allows a rational aperture selection.
I just started with LF and someone suggested I start with f22 and go from there. Since I mainly shoot landscapes, I'll go to f32 on occasion if I feel I need more DOF. I use movements as well usually. I;d like to see your Flickr pictures. What's the link? Tks.
PS Here's one I took at f45 because I was shooting 4x5 with a 300mm so wanted the extra DOF for this telephoto lens.

Good choice, Alan. Front tilt would be limited with that image due to the foliage in the upper corners.
Since I only contact print, I have a little more leeway, as contact printing gives one a little more effective depth of field than making significant enlargements (one can get away with a larger circle of confusion when contacting -- if I am not confused, myself). So I am not hung up on f16 or f22 at all, although glad to use them when I can.
With the Fuji W 360/6.3 on the 11x14, it takes f22 or smaller aperture to get the corners sharp. F16 might work if I am careful.

Tiny bit of tilt ~might~ help... might..
Really a point/area of focus image then use a small exposure aperture.
