See you there Merg?
Hi Rorye, nice to hear from you.
No, I will not be there, but have fond memories of that little gallery at Sunset Center. It was the birthplace of the Friends of Photography, led by Ansel and his distinguished friends. I exhibited there in 1970 with Don Normark, best known for his splendid Chavez Ravine photographs.
Hope all goes well with you.

Reminder, event is this Saturday, October 8th in Carmel.
I helped with the PhotoCentral show of Bill's work a few years ago -- cut a hell of a lot of mats, help hang, etc. The show was for Bill's 70th, if my brain still works. The energy, expertise, and fine eyes of both Kate and Geir Jordahl have created an exceptional view of Bill Owen's life and work. I think they are on their way (or soon) to Norway to hang a similar show of Bill Owen's work. I am afraid Europe is going to get an interesting view of the California suburbia of a half-century ago...
Last month, Kate and Geir stopped by on their way to deliver the work for the Carmel show. I got to look through the new inkjet prints...before I became too nervous to keep handling them. Excellent. Their publishing/editing skills are, too.
I recommended seeing the show if possible.

Would definitely like to be close to that wonderful area, and then for sure would have a look at the interesting show. Good luck!
I attended the opening and the talk.
It was very well attended.
The prints are beautiful...top-notch.
If you can, I recommend you see the show.
The limited edition book with print is an excellent addition to a photo book collection.
Geir and Kate Jordahl deserve accolades for putting this all together.
