So do you think even the ir light source will fog film? I thought only the near ir w the red light would. Guess I’ll have to test.

Also, is the flashlight 850 nm or 920? Thanks

I have received today the same. The can by side a 8x10 holder:
shipment was fast too from Mumbai. I bought it two days after an old lightmeter bought in USA.. The lightmeter still on the way but the Aviphot roll has arrived.
It's silly, easier to buy an old can of Aviphot manufactured in Antwerpen, in Mumbai and get it shipped to Norway than buying directly from Belgium ...
to celebrate I'd enjoy a bolleke of De Koninck with a side shot of brewery's yeast. But for that I'll have to get to Antwerpen for sure.
for regular plan film I use guillotine cutters. Aerographic film is thin, so I decided to cut by templates. Very simple but better explain in pictures.
The roll is 24cm by 76m. Cut 18cm lengthwise and you have a 18x24 sheet.
I have a 8"x10"/18x24 camera but I mostly use 5"x7"/13x18 and I also shoot quite of medium format 120/220 roll.
This done in the dark, and on a piece of cutting matte, on a clean surface (not like there...)
I illustrate with a length of white paper instead of the film (width of this paper is less than 24cm, but them just for illustration). I have the roll of Aviphot to the right, and roll off a length until the little fold working as a stop, on the left.
the film will insert well inside this fold:
so you fold the template. I used metal rulers by the edge of the top fold, glued with cyanoacrylate, its weight and the rigidity of the canson paper do press slightly over the length of film, keeping it well aligned. You can feel with fingers and adjust.
first cut:
second cut, and this strip (82cm to 85cm) in 60mm width (not in the picture) makes a roll of 120. The remaining film inside the folded template will give 6x 13x18.
I use a second template, a folded canson in size 13x18 (or 5"x7"), with also a piece of metallic edge on one side, in order to cut the final sheets ( there will be a small remain at the end, waste, or to use for 2"x3" if you have that, like small Graflex backs).
