    Re: Portraits from 2022

    Hi,

I've been on here a lot looking for help, so thought I would post my first model posed photo (took a landscape a while back that I may also post).

My wife was pregnant, and I really wanted to capture the moment of both being together now and in the future.

It's just a 3200 scan from Epson v700, and I probably haven't experimented much with the settings to get a better scan.

Taken with my Sinar Norma 5x7, Iford HP 5 Plus, Xtol, Paterson Orbital (outside on balcony in freezing weather).

Put on my Instagram as well under my new AlmosLataan pseudoname. Going to keep this as more of a Portfolio account.

Also, I realise this isn't strictly a portrait, as there is no face, but I wanted this to be a picture that was inclusive, and I sometimes feel that this is hard with a traditional portrait.

I upload some of my images in full rez to Flicker

Then size it there and paste to flic and EVERYBODY has a problem with that learning curve
