I am taking the liberty of starting a new thread for the whole of 2021 and showing a portrait made at the end of last year.

A group portrait. A remake of one taken a couple decades earlier, but with the kids' mates added.

5x7, TMax400 shot at 100 accidentally -- but the light was dropping fast and it all worked out as I counted out one-ansel-adams, two-ansel-adams....
Neg photographed digitally on light table and inverted -- looks fairly close to what the platinum print will look like, but I think I can do much better.

Vaughn, that's a beautiful photograph.....composition, light.....& the very long tonal scale. Kudos!

Thank you very much.

I don't know if my "Nicola Perscheid Porträt Objektiv" is a triplet or an aplanat. There is not much information about the lens. But it is a wonderful lens.
