I am still using some outdated Astia 100 from 1999. I see the newer Astia 100F can be pushed 2 stops. I do not have a data sheet and wonder whether the older 100 can be rated 400? I am doing some flash bulb portraits in 8 x 10 and need the extra speed!

This is sort of neither here nor there since you're asking about the regular Astia 100, but I rate a two stop push on Astia 100F as 320 speed.

I haven't tried it, but I don't see why you couldn't do it. It wouldn't surprise me if it went a little blue with a two-stop push, but you could run a test and decide to filter if necessary. I have the old data sheet and it says that there should be no color shift with a 1-stop push, but no suggestions for 2-stops.

I shot a lot of landscapes with Astia in the 1990s and routinely pushed it 2 stops with good results. With darker subjects, I often rated it at 320 to open things up a bit.
