Not sure what changed - last week I had the option to post an image from my computer but today I only had the "Post from URL" option. Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help

The image options seem to be working for me. How are you attempting to insert/append the image? From the "insert image" icon in the edit window tool bar, or from the "Manage Attachments" tab in the advanced edit window?
Hi
The problem seems to be with private messages. I just tested it now with this thread and it's ok - I get the the same two-tab panel that ic-racer shows. I've used it often before with no problem (generally by selecting the "insert image" icon) in thread postings but yesterday, I tried attaching an image in a PM to a member and was only presented with the "from URL" option (there was no "from Computer" tab). I think I've been able to attach in a PM before but can't remember for sure.
At first I thought I might have exceeded some space allotment in attachments but that doesn't make sense if it works in Threads but not PM's. Curious.
Regards
Dave
Test image: not sure why it keeps coming in sideways - image is vertical in computer
Here's the panel I get in the PM window

As I recall PMs have always been restricted to text only, due to storage limitations. The URL insert doesn't store the image, so that is permitted.
The image is vertical on Tapatalk.

I've had the same problem. Not only on PM's but posting in the forum. I've also received several 'database error' messages for the last week. I've even had to log back into the BBS several times after trying to post a message.
The PM system is designed for conversations involving short text messages. If you need to send images, or large amounts of text, it is best to move the conversation to e-mail.
