Can I use Fuji Quickload sheets in a Kodak Readyload holder?

I am moving up to large format and plan to continue shooting both Fujifilm trans parencies and Kodak Tmax 100. I have heard that Fuji's Quickload sheets can be u sed in a Kodak Readyload holder; I'd love to hear from anyone who has had experi ence doing this (anecdotes relating anything from great success to devastating f ailure would be appreciated).

Can I use Fuji Quickload sheets in a Kodak Readyload holder?

Jamal, I regularly use a Kodak Readyload holder for both Kodak and Fuji preloaded films. I've never had a problem with the Fuji Quickloads in the Kodak holder. Best wishes, Bruce

Jamal, I'm also using the Readyload holder/Fuji Quickload film combo. You might want to read some of the negative reviews of the Kodak Readyload on this website. On the opening page near the bottom, look for the "Accesories" section and click on "Sheet Film holders." Scroll down til you see the info. So far I haven't had the problems that some report there, but I'm knocking on wood as I write this!

I'm not sure many of those old comments apply. Apparently the Kodak holder has been redesigned several times now. I've used mine regularly for Fuji and Kodak and had no problems at all. I bought a new holder from Adorama and not a used one from Ebay or somewhere and have shot a couple of hundred photos without a single problem or failure. Except once when I forgot to push the release button and yanked an envelope out without the clip on it...

I do, however, us the technique of partially removing the envelope, then slamming it back in, then removing it completely. I doubt that is necessary but it has now become habit.

I confirm that early ReadyLoad where no good. Mine ended up quite curved and it' s mechanic was'nt good. Get a recent one. The Fuji QuickLoad back is a marvel, but Kodak double sh eets are a bit too tight in it.
