    Developing X-Ray film by inspection

    Hello,

If this question has already been addressed, please point me in the right direction as I have not found it, does anyone have guidance for me on how to develop x-ray film by inspection? Much of the advice I have read talks about looking through the non-emulsion side of the film but that does not work if your film has two emulsion sides.

I look for shadow detail to emerge on the side that faced the lens during exposure. The density of the highlights on the other side gives a good indication of overall contrast.
