I talked to JJ at B&H this morning and he had broken up the 16 box minimum order. So, Delta 100 in 5X7, in 100 sheet boxes for 184.50. Pretty sweet deal. Don’t know if it’ll be back in 5X7. I’m putting 2 in my freezer.

Ilford Delta 100, 5x7 box of 100 sheets cost $184.00 or $1.84 per sheet.

Ilford Delta 100, 8x10 box of 25 sheets cost $115.00 or $4.60 per sheet.

Ilford Delta 100, 4x5 box of 25 sheets cost $40.00 or $1.60 per sheet.


5x7 is nearly twice the film area of 4x5 with a cost penalty of $0.24 per sheet more, Consider the "bigger picture" of this.

This is nice to see. I hope they keep it as a regularly stocked item.

I always thought the 16 box minimum was a little over the top.
But I think the 5x7 Delta 100 was also available as part of the ULF sheet film annual order.

Don't worry folks, here in Europe its still available on German websites, at least in its larger version (13x18cm) I use it a lot for my portraits lford is not like Fuji they won't ditch us... I hope so...

It should be remembered that 13x18cm holders can always be used with 5x7" film, but some 5x7" holders cannot accept 13x18cm film.

Yeps ! you can't load a 13x18cm film in a 5x7" holder and you shouldn't load a 5x7" in a 13x18cm holder. Here in France I use 4 different size of films (9x12cm, 4x5", 5X7" and 13x18cm) and to do things right I had to buy 4 different kind of holders. By the way, 5x7 holder are hard to find here... One day I'll fly to US to bring back some equipement and films which are 25% cheaper than in France even for the ilford products...

Discovered their total non-interchangability decades ago when a friend in Germany sent some Agfa chrome 100 and Agfa Pan 100, 13x18cm film, then tried to load 13x18cm film into a 5x7 holder... not even close. 5x7 film falls out of the film holder guide rails in a 13x18cm film holder.

Ended up ordering a batch of fifteen 13x18cm film holders back when it was a simple order at the local Foto store. Still have those film holders today allowing use of 5x7 or 13x18cm film.

5x7 is the more common size, while back in the film days, 13x18cm film was the standard in Europe and Japan and likely non-"Imperial" base Nations.
