    meteor shower

It was cloudy here in North Carolina...
If a contact print at arm's length is too small to see, you need a bigger camera. :D

    meteor shower

Much needed heavy rains here in Columbia, MO. Honestly, I'm not too sure how to feel about it.

    meteor shower

It was cloudy in Maine also, at least in my area. They where weak, I spent about a total of an hour during a 3 hour period last night, before it got too cloudy, and I only saw 4 large fire balls in that period. One of them was pretty unique and broke into 2 peices. I was waiting for about 1:00am to set up at the north star to at least try a several hour exposure, but it was clouded in by that time.

    meteor shower

I camped on a mountaintop in the Catskills with the hope to photogrpah the meteor showers. Friday night the moon set at midnight and the skies overhead were clear and the Milky Way was visible. But lightning was visible from the North and was lighin up the sky and the mountains on the horizon were obscurred with fog, so no attempt was made. Saturday night's thunderstorms kept me in my tent all night.
