    Rare and endangered species spotted!

    Its "Happy Hour" at the Faculty Lounge---well no, not really---but while flipping through the only reading material laying around---"Military Spouse" July/August issue on the Contributors page I saw a picture of Matt Magruder who is Art Director/Design and Layout for Military Spouse magazine standing next to a...a...a 8x10 camera! On a wooden tripod! And isn't that a "black jacket" focusing cloth I see? An 8x10 shootin' guy with a real job! How wonderful is that?

    That kind of made my day!

    He really shoots digital. The Deardorff was simply added to the picture to make him appear more legit.

    John et al,
    yep that is me, Im doing my best lumberjack impression out at big bend in west texas.
    I grew up a military brat. Got the job about a year ago.
    Its actually an 8x10 Empire State No. 2. and no its not digital

    I also shoot with a 7x17 as well.
