Haven't shot any portraits in a while, but I figured I would share this "test" of the new dry plates being made by user Nodda Duma (check out the New Products subforum).

One plate each of my niece and nephew. Shot handheld with my Linhof MT and 150mm f/2.8 Xenotar wide-open.

My wife would probably kill me for sharing this but I think its cute. Probably wont get it scanned since she doesn't like it so its just a phone photo of the negative and inverted

Clearly I have a LONG way to go with getting the plates to look better but this is my humble submission!
    Love it, as it is!

    "Salome" (5x7 paper neg)

    well...

Today I made a portrait of one of my students - "unfortunately" he closed his eyes so that's the first mistake..

But when I developed I noticed a strange thing: A half naked girl behind him..!

Realized it was of a young girl I have had as guest in Christmas time - photographed her, and forgot about this cassette....

BUT how lucky can one be?

I see Salome with John the Babtist's (beheaded )head - blood running from his nose - semi closed "dead" eyes... and a hint of vail...

THIs one is going to be printed BIG!!

But I have to admit, I am glad his eye didn't land where her nipple is ;-)
