Tripod Info-Debrie of Paris

Does anyone out there have information or maybe even a picture of a Debrie-System Brevete' Paris SCDG. I have this lovely big and heavy tripod thats perfect for LARGE cameras but since its a movie tripod it has a pan action that I can't disengage. A few parts are missing from the tripod and I would love to know how to fix it without having to settle for my usual hamfisted way of fixing things like drilling through the head and inserting a pin!!

Could you possibly email a picture of what you have. I don't believe I've ever seen one of these, but I did spend quite a few years overhauling professional motion picture equipment and it's possible I might have some suggestions if I could look at what you've got.
