Learn to transcribe. Ilex badged their w/a lenses as acugon, accuwide, wide angle paragon, ... who knows what else. Angulon is a Schneider trademark.

The 90/8 Ilex w/a is very similar to Schneider's 90/8 Super Angulon. Both fine lenses but there are now better ones.

Symmar-S lenses are all fine lenses, but there are now better ones.

Try them out to find out whether what they do suits you.

    Dan,
Thank you for your insight, I had no idea the age of the lenses or if they were worthwhile users. I will take your advice and try them.

    Dan,
I was in error, the ILEX is indeed an ACUGON. I must remember to put glasses on to help 77 year old eyes.

Yes, as we age we lose near vision. Me too, like it or not.
