No one will know the answer to this until the next Century. Many locales have put up displays of history in their community & have the images culled from old photos saved by residents. Attics, drawers, old boxes & sheds are where these photos have been kept. Old snapshots & family pictures for the most part are what has survived with the few, the Very few, professional photos.

Process f0r permanence, nothing will be lost and the average photo of today just might find more value in the future than you can imagine.

As for Scotch PMA. Forget it for fibre prints. It is excellent for RC and Ilfochromes and plastic based prints. For fibre prints it is a disaster.

I forgot to mention, put some weight on top of the mat boards. For 11x14 about a dozen National Geographic Mags should do the job.
