Come and see what I have done up and until now at www.neilsphotography.co.uk
Yes, it has helped.
I use my bathroom, and the old cleanroom trick of running a shower beforehand results in a dust free enough environment for me.
I filter the air conditioning duct twice when it goes into the darkroom and all air sources are also filtered.
I bought one from Kinetronics a while ago, and hooked it up to a small air compressor with a needle valve to regulate the pressure. A little pricey, but worth the money. It really helped! I use glass neg carriers, so 6 surfaces to dust. Now I do digital negs for ag printing, so no dust marks to spot on the final prints. It is also very useful when framing prints.
Vinyl record days!

Hello,
Air purifiers that have ionizers, is a good idea.
But, not to expect a lot, even when using more than one in small room, if the room is not in the first place isolated with air-in air-out control.
The generosity of spirit in this forum is great, its warmly appreciated.
