Since you do not mention which type of back you are using, it is difficult to answer.
So let us guess : most probably if your 6x12 film back is not an 'insertion type' (like regular 9x12-4"x5" double sheet film holders) you have to remove the ground glass and attach the back with the sliding 'graflock' bars.
That's exactly right, Emmanuel Ann there are two ridged bars on the top and bottom of your ground glass frame. If you push them in and to the right (or maybe it's to the left - I don't remember) you will notice that it's quite easy to remove your ground glass. That's where your 6x12 roll film holder goes and those same bars are what hold it in. Same principal - hold your roll film holder up against your ground glass frame (with the ground glass removed) and you will pretty quickly discover how the thing attaches. Is there any possibility to move the camera positions(focus) a bit during this process?
