In the Flesh

If for some odd reason you've wanted to see me "in the flesh" Alan Labb's upcoming exhibit at the Schneider Gallery in Chicago features my naked body. My physical attributes aside, the work is very interesting and Alan is one of the best b&w inkjet printers around.

I was in that neighborhood today (dropping off film at gamma). I couldn't find that gallery anywhere.

btw - seriously, if you're coming to Chi (clothed) we should plan a LF forum get together. At least drinks or something.

Actually the gallery is right around the corner from Gamma right under the L as I remember it. Unfortunately I will not be at the opening, issues with my aging mother. But I will be there the last half of July and all of August as I am a visiting artist at the Art Institute of Chicago again this summer. Email me if you want to get together. I'd love to hook up with some people.

Found Schneider gallery - It was right in front of me the whole time. Met with the owner, actually...she's pretty hip. And she seems to like my images...so who knows.

Alan's show was nice. He's got the quadtone digital prints down to where they are really clean. But I think that is much more of you (Kirk) than I want to see on a regular basis. ;D
