I might try and get out there...

I might try to get out there too. Even though I live in the mountains, there is something about the Owens Valley that reels me in.
I am planning on being there. I need a break from moving.

I may just make it up there too

In case the free site at Alabama Hills is occupied by non-LF and/or camera crews, the Tuttle Creek Campground is an option. It is a BLM campground located just south of Alabama Hills off Tuttle Creek Rd, and about 4.5 miles SW of Lone Pine, CA.

In the Alabama Hills, it is all free, hundreds of acres of free -- camp anywhere (I would avoid setting up a tent in the middle of a road). And getting too many people these days...but still a nice place.

can someone PM me a cell number so I can make contact...no camping for me but would still like to join! 310-855-4528/cell #
