    American Integrated Supply
They don't have their own website, but they sell via eBay, I get all the brass wood screws and some machine screws that
McMaster doesn't carry from them that I use for restoration.

    Bolt Depot

Another source for wood and machine screws that I've ordered from.

The smallest I've ever found in a non-specialized store were #4s. I found some #2s in a specialized hardware store locally, the box was +50 years old and missing 4 screws. I haven't felt the need to buy anything smaller, given the shipping costs from a place like McMaster Carr to Canada, but the next time I buy something I will throw some #0s in with the order.

I search on "brass wood screw #2" and it narrows down the results a lot. Then when I find a vendor of interest I look at their other offerings and generally find a selection of other sizes. But prefer Microfasteners, McMaster Carr , or the like.
