    I'm wondering how this approach might work with a plastic tank. I'm thinking 2 plastic pieces (approx 1/4" square) replacing the rivets and epoxied to the plastic tank. Perhaps another 2 epoxied to the bottom to allow for some movement of developer under the film. Would still need the center tube for a light baffle.

    I seem to recall that Phil Davis also had a good description of using tunes in his book Beyond the Zone System.

    Also don't remember where I saw it, but someone once published how to make similar film processing tubes from PVC pipe available at any hardware store. Very very durable, cheap, and used very small amounts of chemistry. Maybe someone else knows of the whereabouts of that article...

    My buddy has tried the epoxy route and it always lets loose eventually. Although those silicone tapered plugs on a plastic tank might work really well. I've ordered some, so I'll let you know. Should have them monday.
