    Hello from Forks, Washington

    New to the forum and I hope you all can put up with a thousand questions for awhile.
    I am shooting 4x5 and making salt prints and I have a really nice enlarger that I haven't set up yet. Oh I have only made one salt print and that was yesterday. LoL total newbie here.

    My first salt print ever. Was really dark and cloudy exposed for 24 minutes and still was not enough time.

    Welcome, Terry!

    Eventually, you'll probably want to get a UV light source. If I remember right, Forks may not get a bunch of sunny days! The first time I passed thru there was hitch-hiking in 1973 -- stayed in the campground a couple of nights over the 4th of July.

    Enjoy and ask away! Lots of info in the archives and such on this site...makes good reading.

    Yep I need a uv light for sure because it does stay really wet and grey here much of the year.

    Welcome to the forum! I hope you are staying dry during our current series of rain and wind storms--one after the other. Even here in Port Townsend in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains the ground is soaked--and everyone is tired of it all.
