    West Systems sells powdered graphite which is qite fine and I am sure will block all light if mixed in the fiberglass resin.

    If whatever you use to blacken it isn't 100% perfect, some black adhesive flocking will surely cover such manufacturing sins.

    I believe that West Epoxies was supplying graphite as an additive to make, among other things, fibreglass based rudder bushings for sailboats. Should still be available. I would guess that Graphite, as a carbon powder, should darken polyester or epoxy composites fairly easy.
