anyone know of someplace to have that done?
getting an old 5x7 reflex camera fixed up with a flash sync.. and might as well get the front surface mirror re-silvered while I'm at it

Look for a place that does silvering for telescope makers (ATM). I had a place in Utah do the mirror for my HP Graflex, and it looks great. There are a variety of different "enhanced" coatings you can choose from, but nearly all are aluminum rather than silver, and all are tougher and more reflective than the original.

Don't know if price is a consideration or how handy you are but if you are interested in a DIY solution, might consider finding a projection TV set(maybe free on Craigs list) they have a large first surface mirror that could be cut down to fit your situation.
Hi,
In Houston Texas you might try Land Sea and Sky. This is an opticak retail store that sels and refurbishes telescopes, Microscopes and nautical instruments.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
Do a search for astronomical mirror coating. There are a few in California. Go direct with one of them to save on mark-up.
Have you ever thought of doing it yourself?
edmund optics sells first-surface mirrors.
