Did they ever make non circular aperture opening waterhouse stops for the APO Nikkor process lenses? I've seen people use triangular ones on old brass lenses to reduce the amount of exposure in the sky.
Thanks
Chris

I was under the impression that these being process lenses that the Waterhouse stops of different "shapes" are meant mainly for different printing reasons ( like 3 color image reproduction?) and not really meant for normal infinity work. They may be usable but could have adverse behavior on the out of focus areas of a given view.
