Again, you guys are amazing. If we are only looking at a half stop difference, then for me, adjusting the development is probably the best bet.
Contacted the repair guy - shutter goes out on Monday!

I think you guys probably know about this place, but Flutot's Shutter Repairs (Carol Miller) specializes in leaf shutters, and that's where I'm hoping to send my work. Just now waiting for a place in line! Here's a link if you're interested. Looks like an amazing business!

I think we all know about Flutot's however I've never had the opportunity to send Carol any work.
I do have 1 old (1890's?) air shutter waiting to send in though.
I am interested in seeing how long it takes for your repairs. I know that you'll be impressed with the quality.
Well, it looks like my temporary "fix" of putting the 240mm Xenar in the Copal shutter worked. I did various bracketing things, and found that there wasn't much difference - I'm really not too sure how either is calibrated. To make a long story short, I found out from a post on Carol Miller's website that the dimensions of the Copal 1 and my Compur are the same, so there was no trouble with clarity, etc.
This shot is my sister, who volunteered for my test. Linhof 45S Kardan, 240mm Schneider-Xenar in Copal 1, Shanghai in HC110, 1/30th at f8. Thanks for all of your help - I'll let you know when the shutter gets back!
