    Timer for multilpe timings...

    Hi, everyone.

I've been doing some semi-stand processing in BTZS tubes - with times ranging from 11 minutes to over 50 minutes based on the neg.

I'd love to find a digital timer that I could mount on the wall that has six clocks/timers on it (I have six BTZS tubes and so develop six negatives in a session).

Does anything like this exist? I've poked around but haven't been able to find anything that would be suitable.

    Thanks.

Perhaps you can make the GraLab 900 do what you need - it has 8 memory locations that can be used to store times for manual recall and can also use the memories to run automatic sequences. Instruction manual is here:

I've never seen anything like that, but you could build such a setup using these. Mount them on a board that has a thin steel sheet attached to it, provided the sheet is not stainless steel (which may not have enough iron in it for a firm hold). Just a thought.

I second Jerry Bodine's tip. It is what I do, multiple inexpensive digital timers. Each has a magnetic back. The battery lasts forever, too.

The traditional 'clock face' Gralab timers are so easy to use compared to some 'programmable' timer. There was a time when it would have been pretty easy to get 8 working units for not much money.

You can get one of these:

Although I've seen the same thing, unbadged, on ebay for half the price.
